Primitivo di Manduria DOC - Papale Varvaglione

The Papale grapes ripen in the oldest vineyards of Vigne & Vini. Due to the very low yields per hectare, the wines from this location are very concentrated. The Primitivo Papale is aged in barriques for 8 months.

The color is ruby red with beautiful violet reflections.

The bouquet is very intense and reminiscent of jam and black currants, cherries and mulberries, cocoa and liquorice.

Round, soft taste with fruity notes and an aromatic finish.

Harmonizes wonderfully with pasta with Mediterranean vegetables, tomato dishes and spicy cheese.
