Highly aromatic, the nose shows unmistakable tropical aromas of guava and gooseberry with a slight hint of Granny Smith apple.
The palate is crisp with fresh flavours of kiwifruit, white peach and honeydew which are supported by a tight citrus acidity.

The varieties each lend their own character to the wine. 

The Semillon starts as a youthful, fresh green leafy flavours that will mature into honeyed, waxy flavours as the wine evolves. 

The Sauvignon Blanc adds a tropical fruit and green apple flavour with a zesty acidity. 

The Viognier supports the acid with richness and stonefruit flavours that will become more prominent as the wine ages in bottle.

In the glass, this straw-yellow Glen Carlou Haven unwooded Chardonnay exudes a lush scent of ripe yellow apples, pears and dried figs. 

This intense fruitiness is enhanced on the palate by aromas of yellow stone fruit and gentle notes of honey and vanilla. 

The balanced, mild acidity and the fruitiness promise great pleasure.

On the nose, there are concentrated aromas of tropical honeysuckle fruit with hints of botrytis and well balanced French oak wood flavours. 

Ripe peach, layers of tropical fruit, both combined with subtle wood give this wine a rich and creamy mouth feel, with an elegant acidity in the background. 

The Le Rivage Blanc has notes of yellow peaches, honey, hazelnut, preserved exotic fruits, vanilla and has slighly mentholated notes aswell.

This aromatically powerful wine is surprising for its freshness and extraordinary finesse on the palate.
